Today was a day full of running around town and crossing things off our To-Do List!!! Mailed Christmas presents, bought some last minute items for Gabriel's birthday, addressed our Christmas cards - oh yes they came in the mail today!!!!, and found this year's Christmas Eve PJs. Nathan picked out the theme and this year we will be the Sock Monkey family. I can't wait!!!!
Now that the Shutterfly Christmas cards have come in I am supposed to tell you all which one we picked. However, I want to wait till everyone receives their cards in the mail. I promise to post which card we finally decided on soon.
Oh word to the wise out there....make sure you double check your count for Christmas cards. Or you will end up like me, some how miss about 3 section of your address book, and end up being short 23 cards! Yes I went into frantic mode earlier tonight trying to figure out what I was going to do. I LOVE our Christmas cards this year and want everyone to receive them. However, it is just to late to order more, have them shipped, and then for me to mail them out on time.
Walgreen's came to the rescue and I ordered some more Christmas cards just a few minutes ago. Feel bad that not everyone will be getting the same cards but better to receive that not.
Also, our Advent celebration was to make our Ginger Bread House but running errands and addressing Christmas cards took longer than expected. After dinner with friends tomorrow night we have made our selves promise to make this Ginger Bread House.

ReplyDeleteOh Sunni but you are!!! I love reading about all the church functions you guys do. How I pray when we move and get settled, that we will find a church home!! For my Christmas list, I feel like if I plan things out my day goes by better. Not working anymore is tough on some days. Merry Christmas to you and the family!
